The Purpose Statement and Research Questions

The purpose of this study is to determine whether inadequate training affects teachers' attitude while working in an inclusive environment.

The following questions that lead the study are:

1. What are the factors that influence teachers' perception toward teaching in an inclusion setting?
2. How does the attitude of teachers affect the performance of students with a disability?
3. What is the relationship between inadequate training for teachers in an inclusion setting and academic achievement?

The Problem Statement: Teachers in an inclusion setting feel they are inadequately prepared to teach students who are in a co-teaching environment.
Purpose Statement: The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of teachers who teach in an inclusion setting.
